Here is an article I found when I was researching on Web 2.0 tools. I really had no clue what Web 2.0 tools were before PIDP 3240 course. I am not very familiar with the technology language. Now, I am proud to know what this is now. So, to help me contribute to the Forum Posting in our Assignment #2, I had to really read a bit this. And here is a link to one of the articles I found about Web 2.0 tools. I found that Pinterest is one of those sites. I was really happy to find Pinterest there because I have used this site and it is my go to site if I need to be inspired with my theme cakes, especially for children. I am enjoying learning about the Web 2.0 tools and I even made my own Pinterest account so I could partake in the sharing and learning.
So, if you want to find other Web 2.0 tools sites, here is the link:
I just created my own Pinterest account!! I looked at the Web 2.0 Tools and realized that Pinterest are one of the most popular Web 2.0 Websites. I have always referred to this website for ideas. However, I didn’t know that I can post and share my own pictures. Actually, I just didn’t know how to do it. This was a perfect time to explore and I am so happy that I can do it now. Pinterest is such an awesome website to get and share ideas with others from any line of interest, hobbies, etc… you can think of… Another website I found that does a similar thing which I believe is another Web 2.0 tool is Creative Juice which I have posted in an earlier post. I just thought that it was a great website to share. Then reading about Web 2.0 Tools I realized it works as such and I am glad to add this to my own knowledge and again there is so much sharing and learning on the web!! This makes me really realize the benefits of learning from PIDP 3240!!
Please have a look at my link http://www.pinterest.com/gonzalezkt/kimberly/
I found these fun ideas from the Creative Juice by Mindy Starr posted on October 7, 2014. This was sent to me by my friend from Busybee creates. http://www.Busybeecreates.etsy.com
Check out this site for more ideas for decorating and hosting for parties and a lot more including tutorials….the ideas are great. It is also a great site for sharing your very own ideas. A great way to collaborate and share ideas online.
for anyone who loves to bake and have fun… this was shared to me by my friend Melissa Chua from @Busybeecreates. Thank you Melissa

I am on the first week of my new course, PIDP 3240 ( Enhanced Media). For me, this is the most challenging course so far of all the PID courses I have taken. I have done 3100, 3210 and 3220. Why? I am not very much into technology. I usually get help from my husband and now I have to do it on my own. I am both excited to learn how to do this on my own and terrified. I feel I have bad luck with technology. I am usually scared of losing my work in space where I cannot find it. I usually like things to be tangible and visible. However, I am keeping positive that this course will teach me lots and will help me conquer my fears with technology.
So, I have chosen Social Media for my assignment. I am a user of facebook but I have not used it to its full potential. I don’t even know how to create my account before this course started. My husband made my account for me! I only know how to post my status and photos and keep in touch with my family. I never really understood how it really works: how I am a part of my alumni class group but I am not their friend and how I can like a page but not be friends, how I can create a page but there is no need to create a new facebook account when my friends tell me to create a page for my baking adventures and it goes on and on with all my questions about facebook. I never acted on it because I am scared of making a mistake of posting something I don’t want to post. So, this time, for my assignment, I created my new account which I want to keep separate from my personal and family life and keep it professional. ( I actually already made a mistake of “friending” family and friends but I suppose I can clean it up and organize it later).
Here’s an article I would like to share with my fellow “Social Mediaers” in PIDP 3240.http://www.facultyfocus.com/articles/edtech-news-and-trends/should-professors-use-facebook-to-communicate-with-students/ I hope you find this interesting and educational.
